I have to say that So Eventful saved my life. My wedding planner Jessica Kerns was just absolutely amazing. Our wedding was in Napa and we live in Los Angeles so being far away I felt at a disadvantage however Jessica could not have made it more easy and perfect!! She responded to my emails within 10 minutes I swear. She literally went above and beyond on our wedding day. The whole day was flawless and she made it so FUN!! I can't say thank you enough. Monica Stickley from So Eventful was my planner and I can not praise her enough. When I first decided to get married in Napa, I was worried about being so far away (I live in LA) I knew I needed a planner, I called a couple of different planners and they were not eager to help. When Monica called me back, I knew in seconds she was my girl. The entire time, her goal was to make my event special. I always felt like a priority. My Future husband called her our "wedding quarterback." Not only is Monica the nicest person I've ever met, she always went above and beyond.
Here are a couple examples: Day before my wedding, my sister's dress did not arrive from Rent the Runway, Monica took it upon herself to drive to Nordstrom (over an hour away) to get her a dress. She recommend all my vendors, from cake to flowers and every suggestion was perfect. The actual event was flawless, she got my vision and made the venue look even better than I could have ever imagine. Monica was worth the cost, knowing I didn't have to worry about the slightest detail, she always had it covered.

I have to say the best thing I did during the wedding planning process was hiring So Eventful for a full coordination - they truly are the best in Northern California, especially if you're having a Wine Country wedding like I did. Marisa and her team are well-established in the area, they know EVERYONE from vendors to site planners. If you have a vision, they will make it come to life. If you are still working on your final vision, they will know exactly what and where to recommend and will work with you to figure it out, every step of the way.
For my wedding at Solage in Calistoga, Marisa and her team paid attention to every single detail. Marisa accompanied me on site visits, helped me pick a venue, secured room blocks, handled EVERYTHING with the vendors, and worked with me to determine the vibe I wanted for my wedding (which wasn't easy, I had lots of ideas!). Every moment of my wedding was clearly thought-out, from the timeline to the ceremony musician to the cocktail table decor to the lighting. Everything was beautiful and taken care of, exactly what you want on your wedding day!
Marisa is reliable, smart, organized and creative - I didn't have to worry about a thing and if I had a question, she was always very quick to either call me back or respond to my email. She's always on it. I can honestly say, I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding - my vision came to life and I could not have done it without the help of Marisa and her team.

Everyone warns you that your wedding day might not turn out exactly as planned, that things will come up that you didn't foresee. Between a vendor canceling two days before our wedding (for unforeseen circumstances), and rain showers predicted on the day of our outside ceremony and dinner, Marisa somehow made it feel stress-free. The minute something went awry (i.e the vendor canceling), she was "on it" and found a solution almost immediately. She is a hard-to-find combo of being super sweet but also "no bullsh*t," and that is exactly who you want on your team when planning a wedding. I had no idea how many decisions would have to be made and how many details there would be, but Marisa was always there to answer questions and make the process go as smoothly as possible. Our wedding turned out better than we could have envisioned, and a lot of that was thanks to Marisa and So Eventful. I would highly recommend So Eventful!
I have nothing but praise for So Eventful! Early on in wedding planning process several friends advised hiring a day-of coordinator. Given our small wedding and tight budget, I brushed off those suggestions. And then my anxiety took over, and my fiance and I decided a day-of coordinator was more than worth the cost! Marisa worked closely with me up front to customize a package that worked for our needs - we had planned our entire wedding, we just needed someone to execute everything day-of.
Meghan was our day-of coordinator, and she was amazing. I was just so thankful to have her, but seeing her in action during our wedding validated the value in having her. Instead of running around like a crazy person the day before and day of my wedding, I was able to enjoy time with friends and relax a little before the main event! I couldn't have done that without Meghan.
No matter how good you are at planning or type a you are about your wedding, it really is impossible to do it all - especially during the week of your wedding. You want to be able to enjoy yourself, your significant other and your guests. Do yourself a favor and hire So Eventful!
We couldn't have been more pleased with Kristen for pulling off an amazing wedding. I lived in Florida and was married in Petaluma, California. I have heard brides say how "difficult and frustrating" planning their wedding was... but I didn't experience any of that.
With minimal direction and no face to face meeting in over 3 months, she took care of everything for me from hundreds of miles away. Kristen provided prompt response throughout the wedding process. She always was responsive and quick! Most of all, she is very energetic, outgoing, and fun that you will feel comfortable to be working with.
From menu selection to decoration, linen, guests card, table arrangement, and everything that you will need to take care, Kristen did a wonderful job handling all these things for you. She has much more ideas than me and always opens for new ideas that I might have. She always accepted my changes to small things that no one would care or notice.
We can't thank enough Kristen for making our day truly amazing and special. She went far beyond my expectations and provided excellent professionalism. Everything was beautiful and we received so many compliments on our wedding and it was all because Kristen put everything together perfectly. She knows what she is doing! I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding planner, it turned out beautifully! Thank you so much again and I would highly recommend her to any engaged couple!
